I've just joined here, being asked to by a member of another chat board. To keep things simple, my username is the same in both places.

Economics : Pretty much a freek market capitalist.
Social stuff : Conservative in my personal life, but generally with a live and let live attitude (as long as you're not hurting anybody else or costing me any money)
Fiscal : Small gummint, low spending, flat tax kind of person.
Foreign policy : Generally Hawkish, pro-military, but I like to at least try diplomacy first.

I'm trying to be balanced, WEB. I also recruited Inmansq, but he hasn't posted yet(although he has joined).

DSM, any suggestions for who else from TS would be good here?

Not me. I haven't heard of DSM before, I thought he was from a forum I used to go to about a year or so ago.

From the Left side, captain_kirk might be a good idea. There are a few others who appear to be intelligent, but mostly all they're able to do is cut and paste news articles, then they never stick around once the original article gets picked apart.

From the right, I'm not all that sure. Many of them are good people at heart, but a lot of them are fairly immature in their postings. I wouldn't want a "shirts" effect over here, if you know what I mean.

I'd love to get Joyce. I've always wanted to see just what Joyce would say to me on a forum where she could curse.

Better yet, I'd love to see her and WEB get into it.

Captain Kirk would be awesome as well.

Probably the next best person from the right would be Eileendover.

Joyce is sharp as hell and knows her business. That's why I put up with her telling me I'm evil, an idiot, a liar, etc.

Shrubbery knows me better. If you want him I can try to pull him in.

Joyce has always appeared (to me at least) to be very intelligent and knowledgeable about things, but she also appears to be a blind partisan appologist. I may just be seeing that through my own partisanship, though.
