Hello All
I see a lot of familiar faces around here... 
Thought I'd drop by for a computer advice thread (I generally can't resist that, lol) and check out the new digs...
Looks like you've got a pretty nice forum here, WEB. The VBulletin setup is configured very nicely and I like the layout of the discussion topics.
Did I see you posting out there somewhere, sglaine? How've you been? |

That sort of thing can be fun, but I'll generally opt for civil conversation. I'm a busy man these days, working full time and getting my Master's on the side, so I don't have as much time to slug it out with the "Native Americans" of the internet

WRT the forum setup, well I did get some good advice from a few folks, some good advice about condensing and eliminating some of our earlier forums, because we don't have so many people yet, so there was no point in having all those forums with just a few threads in them.
As far as building this forum up, you'll see that I've got a lot of surprises in store.

Nice to see you here doc. Hopefully this forum can stay more civil than the other one. Guess we'll see. For now we have no .... well, I won't list about four or five names of posters that I absolutely despise.
I think (hope) web will be a bit tighter on how trolls are defined :-) I know that can be tough, but I think a troll is a troll is a troll. One who's only purpose is to actively piss off as many as possible with trash and nonsense. It's too bad that there are so many "OVER there". But there is, so I generally just enter when there's an obvious troll who needs fed :-)
SOMEONE has to feed the zoo animals. Hey I feed snakes, so I suppose I'm qualified in this dept. TOO |

You have no idea, my friend. Truly. I have done so much to get this place going. It has consumed almost all my time for the past 7 weeks. Almost all of my thoughts and energy go into improving this place in some way, shape or form.
It has to be done though. It's personal now. |
