We are a nation born from conquest. Ours is a legacy of blood and smoke. We have never been a true democracy and we should not pretend that we value freedom above commerce. Our foreign policy has always been dictated by corporate interests. If there was no oil in Iraq, we would not be there now. I believe everyone should look up the word imperialism in the dictionary before they begin to speak about American foreign policy. That said, check out my video on youtube.

always? you really need to pick up a history book. and besides, every act of foreign policy is done for money, be it peace or war. and just to let you know, we havnt been getting any oil from iraq.

what does imperilism have to do with overall american foreign policy? you think just because we are in iraq, that we are trying to take it over? and when has america ever imperilized any country? (besides the philipines)
