I don't think it's fair to call American "imperial". I wish everyone could get a copy of the book Special Providence by Walter Russell Mead (in fact, if you can find it I highly reccomend it). England went through a lot of the same stuff we go through today as a world power. While that is not the focal point of the book, the author spends a great deal explaining why this is true and why things are usually not half as bad for the world power than they seem.

Damn pepsi, you beat me back. I wanted to post this before any personal attacks started. When they say imperialism they are referring to a poli sci concept of political and economic control of one state over a foreign teritory.

I do alot of reading andI try to post stuff I think will mke people think and form an original opinion.

I am not accusing you of attacks at all. In the past there have been those that make attacks based on assumptions They are usually wrong.

I appreciate your input.
