Giuliani is in!

Giuliani Takes First Step in Presidential Bid - New York Times

I'd have to say he starts out as the frontrunner.

I really don't know a lot about where he stands on a lot of things, but yeah I would say he's a front runner.

I like Giuliani. I think he showed a lot of brass on 9/11. The only thing I'm worried about are some of his stances, like on gun control. All in all I think he is between an alright guy and a damn good man. I would like to hear the issues he will run on.

I sent Hizzoner $50 when he was running against Hillary Clinton,
and then the SOB drops out of the race!!!

To be fair to him, he was having real health problems.

He cannot become a Republican national nominee in my opinion
unless he pretty well reverses a central position- on abortion-
at least in words.

The elder George Bush did just that in 1980.

Economically conservative, socially liberal, major hawk on national security, and a major law and order guy when it comes to crime.

Dude, you want to see an unbeatable team?

No way they'll be on the same ticket. Both candidates need help from the base, which means both will select VPs more acceptable to the base.

All the Pelosi haters, remember that Guiliani is for gun control. If that is your biggest worry.

He'll be able to get around that by considering gun control a local and state issue. That's what Dean did to quiet the anti-gun people in his own caucus.
