Uhh,how can that be wrong when people have less money on their paychecks that pay less taxes?

50% of income earners pay less because they get less.
5% shoulp pay more cause they get more.

People yell "CLASS WARFARE"all the time.
There is no "CLASS WARFARE" just basic mathmatics.

Ask any working American give him a fair paying job he'll pay more taxes.

If not the government will have to get the taxes they need from other sources, like a little higher up the financial ladder.

Okay then, when we inverse that and say that if there is a tax cut, those that pay the most receive the largest cut. After all, those that earn less pay less so a cut on very little will equal very little. A cut on more will equal more. Basic math.

Very nice, one small problem.

Although I know how difficult it seems to do away with giving money to the rich for paying taxes truth is America at the present time needs them.

After all not too many working Americans get money from the government to save their house from being foreclosed like Bear Sterns got money because they hit hard times, or the the Airlines when they hit hard times, OR THE OIL COMPANIES FOR THAT SPECIAL RESERCH, ect.

So America has helped more than one CEO and more than one corporation through bad times it would seem only fair that these same people help America through her bad time, or are the top 5% going to say" I GOT MINE YU GET YOURS","DOG EAT DOG" "THE STRONG SURVIVE LET THE WEAK STEP ASIDE",
However this should be remembered when the next corporation goes to the American government with their hand stuck out cause their business took a bad turn cause of bad investments.
America's responce should be "DOG EAT DOG", "LET THE STRONG SURVIVE IF YOU ARE WEAK STEP ASIDE" "I GOT MINE GOOD LUCK GETTING YOURS"

Socially conservative Democrat wins special election for congressional seat in Mississippi
May 13, 2008 21:11 EST

Democrat Travis Childers wins a U.S. House seat in Mississippi's deeply Republican 1st Congressional District.

Childers defeated Republican Greg Davis in a special election to fill the final few months of a two-year term in Congress. The seat was vacated when Roger Wicker was appointed to the U.S. Senate after Trent Lott resigned.

Follow-up on the Mississippi election:

Quote:
That's an 8-point victory in a solidly Republican district. The GOP even brought in Dick Cheney to campaign and tried to tar Childers as an Obama lover. But nothing worked. Even in Mississippi, they just don't want anything to do with Republicans anymore. It's going to be a ver-r-r-r-y long summer and fall for the GOP leadership.

...Democrats begin the march into the fall elections with an enormous cash advantage: $44 million for the DCCC to $7 million for its GOP counterpart as of March 31. And 25 other Republican incumbents have decided against running for reelection, providing Democrats with more opportunities to make gains.

No change at NRCC 'yet'

House Republican leaders on Wednesday tried to quell internal dissent following the party's third special election loss this year in a race in Mississippi yesterday.

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Cole of Oklahoma accepted blame for the loss during a closed-door meeting with his GOP colleagues, according to members in attendance, but neither he nor Republican Leader John A. Boehner of Ohio announced any major changes atop the leadership tree or at the campaign committee.

"It was a very somber meeting," said one lawmaker leaving the meeting who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Texas Rep. Jeb Hensarling, who chairs the conservative Republican Study Committee, defended the campaign chairman during the closed-door session, saying "the problem was not Cole, but the Republican brand" and the lack of well-formulated policy planks articulated by the party.

The only thing trickeing down is more debt, lower wages, higher prices and less fair wage jobs.
You are the only controlling your debt, not the economy. Where are the Lower wages? Higher prices, that is a result of our government trying to print more money to try and stimulate the economy. It only makes it worse, we should have just weathered the storm. All jobs are "Fair Wage Jobs" If you don't think the wage is fair, then don't do the job. It's not the governments responsibility to give you a job. That is union propaganda.

notice the social conservative part. It kinda shoots a whole in the liberal way is the popular way doesn't it? The republican party is leaving the Ideals that made it powerful. It has shunned us conservatives, in favor of a failed centrist mentality. The house that has sheltered conservatism(The GOP) is being burned down by a senile old man(McCain) who was given a match by a pyromaniac(the Democrat party).
