Libertarians rejoice!

Ron Paul is running for the GOP nomination!

For those who don't know Ron Paul, he ran for President on the LP ticket way back in the day. After failing, he joined the GOP and ran for a House seat, where he has served nine terms. He's a Vietnam vet. And he's the most libertarian member of Congress by far.

With the GOP base being about 25% libertarian, he has a shot if he can raise money. In New Hampshire, the libertarians in the GOP base make up closer to 50%. He'd also have to be the frontrunner in the Texas primary, where he'd be a favorite son.

Would also be nice if libertarians in the Libertarian Party would register GOP just to vote for him.

Ron Paul - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I looked him up, and I think he might be a bit too radical to take it, but I think that he's a good candidate.
