GREED
I was wandering I'm I the only person that thinks of all the 7 deadly sins this one is the most dangerous, BECAUSE GREED AND POWER HUNGRY GO HAND IN HAND, at least that's my opinion.
I don't mind people making all the money they can, but when they start to bitch over a wage increase of 3 dollars well?
American workers have always paid their share.
When I was working in Mich. and got my paycheck you could hardly make out the F.I.C.A cause it was stained with my tears, but I and millions of other American workers accepted it and moved on, even when we a had a good year and got in a lot of overtime only to get a notice from the I.R.S. saying we owed the U.S.government money we may have bitched about it but we paid and moved on.
When a high ranking official buys an umbrella stand for $6 thousand dollars or, another corpration leader pays for a golf cource to be put in his back yard, and these guys are bitching about the high cost of labor or when do I get my tax cut?, Well I may have some questions about that.

I think his complaint is centered more on govt. bureaucrat wastefulness. These pigs have and make so much that they don't even think about wasting $ 600.00 or $6,000.oo or $ 6,000,000.oo dollars of taxpayer money.
That's what I picked up kind of between the lines.
It irritates ME too. I'd like to give these peckerheads a boot in the ass back to reality. Just because they're sitting on a cache of taxpayer $$ doesn't mean they should spend it without careful consideration. Maybe we wouldn't be in such deep debt as a country if they controlled their urges better.

Having been through many times of NOT so plenty I STILL waste very very little. You'd be amazed at how little TP I can use and still have a clean arse LOL It's kind of an art
Anyways, I'm always trying to save and build up a supply like a squirrell preping for winter because I beleive that hard times are ALWAYS ahead. If they don't COME thats great, if they DO I'll be as ready as I can be.
Even so, I know there are times I'm wastefull. I waste very little though.

People like who?
1) I can imagine people being upset over taxes without being greedy or power hungry. In fact, it's a commonplace.
2) The tax cuts were designed for economic purposes. Since the tax cuts were implemented the government revenue at all levels has signifigantly increased. Some people just don't understand that WORKING human beings aren't machines and yes, that means those who invest and thereby risk their property. Tax the hell out of anyone and their desire to work, translated into their productivity, diminishes, and tax revenue does too.

His complaint should be, but unless he's spelt his feelings out wrong then that's not what he is upset about.

Although I agree with your post , and for the record both Democrats and Republicans, and all party lines are guilty of wasting American tax dollars one way or the other,
I am refering to what we as Americans are becoming, as a society.
I beleive in Capitalism just as much as the next guy.
But when Americans are prepared to die for their country and America's way of life isn't it kinda strange that when somebody says America's in Debt, you may have to pay more taxes to pay off this debt WELL THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY ISN'T IT?

First of all I got no complaint, just a question.
How come when anybody implies that GREED is evil somebody say whats his problem or what's his complaint or they talk about feelings?
That's like the old story about the guy telling his girlfreind "sure I asked for interest on the money I loaned you that don't make me seem greedy does it"?

I don't know what you're talking about, but I have to wonder if you do. Think about it - if a guy wants the money he earns, is that greed? You're saying that if any man wants to get paid what he earned then he's greedy, so stop being ridicilous and defensive, no one attacked you.
And your "old story" makes no sense at all, and it has no relevance.
