Being Correct?

Political Correctness
This issue has some what been avoided. Although I have been a Democrat ever since I got my first voter regestration card I sometimes question the subjects of the aclu, an affiliate of the Democratic party, but I also question the subjects of the Christian right wing, an affiliate of the Republican party.
So this could be a real Bypartison topic.
My question, Has America gone too far with Political correctness or do we need to go farther?
Could there be an invisible line drawn in the sand where Americans will say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH no matter what party comes up with it?

Political correctness is retarded IMO, and has gone way too far, but, I think that people will get tired of it after a while and it will die down.

If you want to read a good book on political correctness check out muzzled by Micheal Smirkonish. He has one story in there where the 9/11 highjackers were let through airport security, even though the airport employee thought they were suspicious, because they already had an Arab going through the "pat down" and to be PC the airlines had a policy that said only one person of Arab descent was to be in the "pat down" process because they didn't want to be accused of racial profiling and being "un-PC."

Or, you can rent PCU.

Oh yeah, this is more recent. There was a Got Milk marketing campaign in San Fransicko where they had chocolate chip cookies on a bus ad. Well they had sprayed cookie smell on the ad, so that people would smell the cookies and think, hey, I'm going to get some cookies and milk. Well, some people thought that this was mean because as we all know, or hear anyways, San Fransicko is littered with vagrants and it was unfair for these vagrants to smell the cookies because they can't afford them. So, they made them take the ads down. Is that not going too far?

San Francisco dunks a cookie-scented 'Got Milk' ad campaign on city bus shelters
The Associated Press
Published: December 6, 2006

SAN FRANCISCO, California: A marketing campaign to promote milk by outfitting city bus shelters with cookie-scented cardboard strips has crumbled.

City officials ordered CBS Outdoor, the company that holds the advertising contract for its bus shelters, to remove the adhesive strips Tuesday, just one day after they were put up as part of a "Got Milk?" campaign.

The Municipal Transportation Agency canceled the plan after some residents raised objections. "We got complaints," said MTA spokeswoman Maggie Lynch. "It is controversial."

Some critics expressed concern over potential allergic reactions. Others complained the ads could be offensive to the poor and homeless who can't afford to buy sweet treats.

Scented oils were sandwiched between cardboard cards emblazoned with "Got Milk?" and affixed to shelter walls, in hopes that the smell of just-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies would spark cravings for milk. The promotion was launched at five San Francisco bus shelters at a cost of about $30 (€22.60) per shelter.
I can maybe see the allergic reaction argument, but other articles said that this fear was unsubstantiated.

US is giving more priority to others politics than their. So there is not any correctness in their politics I think. We are needing some other type of godfathers. Not like destructive bush family.

The ACLU is trying to sue a state trooper ( I forgot which state) for pulling over a van with 14 illegal immigrants who couldn't speak English or say what they were doing. The trooper took them to the local immigration office and the ACLU is going to sue for racial discrimination.

What have I been saying about the aclu ?

They ARE the most dangerous kiind of enemy a society can HAVE. An internal one that fools the populace into beleiving they serve a good and useful purpose. They USED to. Like old fruit, this one has "turned".

Turned against us all.

I know, dismiss me as some nut. Pay attention boys and girls.

I think it will get a lot worse before it gets better. Political correctness is already frustrating the hell out of people because it is subversive to the principles America was founded on (in a lot of cases, in others it is just retarded.) The worse it gets the more and more frustrated people will become and before long we will see a decrease in people's williingness to "play along."
