that's not ancient Chinese clothes.that clothes is name "Qi Pao"（旗袍),it was very popular in the ROC period(last century).of course,this clothes style's source is ancient China.
the China expresident Jiang's wife(the fist lady) Song Meiling likes in "Qi Pao".she is a very graceful lady,although she objects communism(her husband is KMT leader from 1920s to 1970s),but in Mainland,most people admire her and like her.some people even said she is eternal first lady.me too.in my mind,she is a super great woman.
