Apocalyptica

Has anyone heard of this band? I learned about them in the '90s when they released a Metallica cover cd. These guys are amazing.

I know Apocalyptica. In fact I am a huge fan of their "reflections" album. For example the song "far away" is amazing. (I prefer the instrumental version over the one featered by a singer, allthough that other one is nice too)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6Y7nys00dk (the version featering Linda Sundbald, I could not find the instrumental one)

I am sad though, that they gone a way I dont really like that much. They cut back their chello sound in their most recent single and now sound like some random Linkin Park clone.

I dont have them on my notebook. I just have "Cult" and Reflections". The former is abit to hard for me to be honest.

But the covers of the Metallica songs are great as far as I can remember (Inquisition Symphony, isnt it?)

The albums I have are completely self produced in contrast. Whereas Cult is realy brutal raping of chellos and pure in that way, reflections has allready some other instruments partially assisting. In my eyes its their best album therefore, because its still unique, and very melodic.

Just follow the link if you wanna know how some of there songs from in between.

Faraway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6Y7nys00dk

Path (a single, probably even better than Faraway) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0_aZXI-3uY
Path only instruemental (again, even better than the other version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGnAz...elated&search=
