Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'll substitute if Kaz is not interested.

WEB, you will have to do it this week, i've got two tests coming up and an assignment due, so i won't be spending too much time here and probably won't be able to develop an adequate strategy in AzTeK's absence.

Not a problem. So I'll submit Italy's orders on Thursday then. Only 3 of the units can actually move. Shouldn't be too hard to formulate a strategy.

Several units were dislodged this round, we need retreat/disband orders in by tomorrow at the same time (8 PM). The map and quote box tells which units were dislodged but for extra reference:
The French army of Kiel is in retreat, it was dislodged in a 2 on 1 battle against the German fleet of Denmark supported by the German army of Berlin.
The German army of Munich is in retreat, it was dislodged in a 2 on 1 battle against the Russian army of Silelsia supported by the French army of Burgundy
The Italian army of Venice is in retreat, it was dislodged in a 2 on 1 battle against the Turkish fleet ofthe Adriatic Sea and the Turkish army of Trieste
If retreat orders aren't turned in by 8 PM tomorrow, the default will be to disband the dislodged units.

The British move was an error. Even if Slarti had not attempted to move into St. Petersburg, the fact that the British fleet stayed in St. Petersburg, would have bounced the Army in Norway and kept it out.
Just a quick clarification St. Petersburg. There is a south and north coast of St. Petersburg. The south coast can only move into bot or fin. The North coast can only move into bar or nwy. A north coast fleet cannot move into Finland.

France is going out of its way to not defend itself from Britain in order to aid Russia in assaulting German shores! So lame.

People who are interested in this game might also be interested in computer game Europa Universalis 3 (especially Napoleons ambition expansion). It spans from 1453 until ~1815. You can manage chosen country/provinces, wage wars, colonize etc.
I have one suggestion for this diplomacy game. What if you sent separate image of the map to each player, so that they wouldn't see positions of enemy armies? Or there could be a rule that you can see enemy army only if you have your army next to it. Player should know only general state of enemy country/army, and not know exact positions of its fleets/armies.

The Turkish empire has an amazing spy system and this new fangled thing called a surveillance airplane to pinpoint the exact positions of enemy armies
Anyway, do you have any idea how much more work that would be for Locke? Sending out a message with a different map to each individual...
