He could also chose to disband the retreating Army and rebuild it in Marseilles or Paris in the rebuild phase though.

Ah, so our great Austrian leader disbands his last remaining unit. It has been a fair challenge fighting you, oh Kaiser.
Moves are due tonight... hmmm...
*goes to make up moves*

That's very interesting. I hadn't thought of that.

This turn was a bit of a mess because we're still trying to straighten things out, but perhaps we should adopt Caltex's suggestion later in the game. No more substitutions (me stepping in for people when they miss their turns). No more replacing people due to their failure to hand in turns on time. Perhaps after Tuesday their should be strict enforcement of the rules and if people do not turn their moves in on time, then fuck em' and process the turn without them. Just my 2 cents. I grow weary of people's inability to perform simple tasks.
Also, have you gotten clarification on how people were communicating their retreat and build/disband orders with Drake? I know you asked for that yesterday.

I agree with this, we can handle it situationally. If people don't turn in their moves, the rules account for that scenario, so we can default to that.

I don't think so. I suppose I could just tell people how we're going to do it... Unless someone knows and lets me know before the next retreat phase is upon us. This one was easy enough because like you said there was only one space open for the retreat. Otherwise, I believe the best way to handle those is to notify that a retreat phase is in progress in which case the faction with the retreating unit should notify me of retreat orders ASAP via PM. Because in JDip, when a retreat is in progress, I have to input it before the game can move on. Otherwise, if I resolve the orders without doing anything, the default is to disband the dislodged unit (I guess in assumption that the faction failed to give retreat orders).
Hopefully that makes sense, I sort of meshed that paragraph together pretty quick without a whole lot of thought about organization... Thoughts, ideas?

Well we left two options available because of the mess that was being sorted out earlier (and now seems to be sorted out). They're either due tonight at 8 PM central, or if I don't get them all by then, the deadline will be pushed to Tuesday night. Hopefully we'll get them here tonight, but it's not a problem if we don't. I have orders from several people--updated in the post following this one--and if in the event that the deadline is pushed back, those orders will remain unless the commanders of those factions PM me with changes (that'll be up to them whether or not they want to do that).

Alright, the deadline is moved back to Tuesday at 8 PM. I'll hold the orders I have from those above over for Tuesday unless the leaders of those factions wish to PM me to make changes (they can do so at their discretion).
