Wink Go Cubs 2007

Ok, I know they did absolutely horrible last year; but, I am and always be a true blue, one of a kind, cub fan. They have done all they can do for the coming year. They pulled out all the stops and I think that 2007 will be their year. If it isn't then they have no one to blame but themselves.

Cubbies are spending money like the Yankees, and I don't think it's going to buy them a division title. Signing two mediocre and overpriced pitchers? I don't think it's a very good move.

As for the Bears, that was a great game, but I would hardly say they owned the 9-7 Seahawks. More like they squeaked by. The good news is that Rex looked great. The bad news is that their defense continued to look like crap.

Incidentally, I lived at Grace and Pine Grove for 2 years. Living near Wrigley is a lot of fun. We used to hang out at Bar Louie, Murphy's, and Cubby Bear a lot down there. Good times

I watched Soriano a lot in Texas and he is often very frusterating... It never looks as if he is playing hard; doesn't run out ground balls, etc. I think he will have his ups and downs in Chicago because there are times when he's a lot of fun to watch and puts up great numbers.

Go CUBS!
That's fantastic! Good job! I've only been to one game in Wrigley but had a great time. Probably the most fun I've ever had at a game. It was before I could partake in adult beverages so I'm anxious to go back when I can enjoy all the park has to offer!
