Find a gun, turn it in, get kicked out of school
(I think this goes here, it didn't seem like head line material)
WBBM 780 - Chicago's #1 source for local news, traffic and weather - Teen Turns In Found Gun, Gets "Expelled"
It seems a young man found a pellet gun at his school and turned it into authorities, and is now not allowed back in school. Now, he has not be expelled, the school got around that technicality by providing a form of home school. This article leaves a lot to be desired.
But at face value it seems the school just encouraged the kid to not be honest in the future.

You see this so often in school's, where they have the letter of the law and no one is permitted to THINK, and they therefore do whatever the handbook says. Like when a kid innocently gets a plastic knife to cut his lunch and gets expelled.
