I don't know. Shouldn't be too hard to find out which ones got in on all-female shortlists and which didn't.
Of course, there are some very good female MPs, I just think it's a lower proportion because they get in easier, so don't have to be as good.

Women avoid the political parties for various reasons.
1. In some countries women do not have the right to become members of the political parties or they need permission from their husband, even they do not have the right to drive a car. (Mainly in Muslim Countries)
2 The conservative parties do not encourage women in political activities, they prefer them at home, in the kitchen or to care the children.
3. The Democratic, labor, social democratic, and European socialist parties prefer the women in the political parties but we are at the very begin, it is needed some time to learn to recognize and respect the women politicians, In the next 20-50 years I am sure we will have many women leaders in this political group.
4. In the Green Parties the majority of the members and voters are women.
Women are more progressive than the men, more sensitive on human rights, against the war or against the race discrimination. Women are very busy of cause the second sift at home, at least double work time than the men, they are exhausted from the two sifts ( work plus home work) and they have less free time.
When they have real equal opportunities with the men they are the best!!! In Europe more than 63% of University Students are women.
Sooner or later the women will enter in the politics. We know that last years, most of the new members of trade unions are women.
But if really, the political parties want the women in , they must become more democratic, more responsible and less dirty!!
