I take that as a FUTURE tense statement. Both you and RODOG have already changed (your mind), in at least 2 ways. One: both of you have changed your thrust and now acknowledge the GENDER aspect when, initially, both of your thrusts was that AA is "racist" or "race-based" discrimination.
Because of the example I presented, an example BASED IN ACTUAL FACTS, both of you decided to CHANGE and, after only focusing on "race", now try to mention GENDER as if that was your position and reason behind your anti-AA position. Again, the FACT-BASED example I presented (or alluded to) - i.e. something that has actually occurred in practice vs. the theoretical/hypothetical conjecture both of your arguments were based on - made both of you CHANGE:
AA BENEFICIARIES (from 1st Quote)
60% - White women
21% - POC (people of color)
19% - White men (via disabled, Vietnam vets, disabled vets)
Now, I more than willing and made this thread to talk about WHITE PREFERENCES - i.e. preferences, etc. Whites benefit from and all the opportunities that flow from them. You're welcome to make a contribution to the subject. Go ahead. I'd applaud you if you did.
You're also welcome to speak at length about the lack of a meritocracy in America.
