I was simplier than trying to take on corporate America.

Expect the City of Boston to be slapping Turner Productions for a nice fine ! There is no way they'll recieve any money from those "clowns", so they'll go "where the money is".

Those clowns should definitely "cool their heels" with some jail time !

If you go to Foxnews.com you can see their meeting with the press. They were advised not to talk about the incident so they were discussing hairstyles through the sixties and seventies, why some went away, and why some made it from the sixties to the seventies. It was pretty funny. A lot better than watching someone stand there and say "I was advised not to talk about that."

I still think that this is being blown way out of proportion. If they had gone around and put up a cartoon character that everyone knew nobody would have thought twice about it. But now people are trying to act like they did it on purpose.

It's a comedy show. And a popular one at that. I think, although it's wonderful that they quickly handled a situation that they thought was a problem, that this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Boston is a college city. Guaranteed 80% of the people who saw those boxes knew that they had seen the character before.

If they want to punish someone, make Time Warner pay for the all of the fees for the operation of cleaning up and "testing" the boxes. These guys didn't do anything wrong ... and of course they are laughing!!! I would be too! It's ridiculous. What makes it even more funny is that it's Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They didn't mean to make people think they were bombs... as was stated... the boxes had been in place in other cities as well.

Time Warner, of course, will not be charged, but they should step up to the plate on this one. These guys don't deserve jail time for something so stupid. Jail time is to punish people for serious crimes. Fine them, fine Time Warner and move on.

I'm disappointed in Boston. But.... I guess.. 7 years ago this wouldn't have even gotten airtime outside of the city.
