The same is true of Jefferson and Madison. I've seen those records at Monticello (Jefferson's home), and Montpelier (Madison's home). And there are records in Boston regarding John Adams and John Q. Adams, also. They may have worshipped on a timely basis, but they were all Deists. They also thought it was important to keep religion separate from government. Why would their ancestors, have left The British Isles?

You're a fool if you think that all of the founding fathers were Deists. There is little evidence that even a signifigant number of them weren't. Now, let's see... Over 50% of the founding fathers were Pastors at Christian Churches... They were all Deists... Hmmm, I think that you're mixing what you WANT to be truth with what is the truth. Just because you want something to be true, doesn't mean that it is.

*The first action of Congress be to order Bibles for every soldier?
*Would founding documents refer to God as: one God, Almighty, He, Supreme Being, the Creator, Good, the Great Legislator of the Universe, the Governor of the Universe, and the inspirer of the scriptures of the Old and New Testemants? Why would founding documents recognize his Divine Providence? Why would founding documents recognize him as Savior and Lord?
*George Washington say, "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."
*John Dickinson say, "To my Creator, I resign myself, humbly confiding in His goodness and in His mercy through Jesus Christ for the events of eternity."
