I think many abstract concepts like "truth" or "morality" are subjective or relative, and many people don't seem to see this. We can't hope to understand each other if we convince ourselves that "we're right" and "they're wrong!", and I think it's this kind of ignorant self-righteousness that drives us apart.

Truth can be many things:

-It can be that feeling a woman gets right after a man tells her something and that inexplicably causes her to slap him across the face.

-It can be that tiny element in a sentence that causes your inlaws to grows deathly quiet and turn crimson in the face

-It can be that bothersome little thought in the morning when you brush your hair that forces you to look away from the mirror

-It can be that split second moment when you look into a newborn baby's eyes and they stare right back at you and you just know there isn't one nanosecond of bullshit there, it's all real

How do you differentiate it from falsehood?
Falsehood usually feels like I'm sitting with my tush hanging between 2 chairs, there's a big cactus underneath, the chairs are on wheels and I'm on a boat.
It's also that "something's not quite right, can't put my finger on it but it feels wrong somehow", feeling.
If you ever get that, either run or confront, but don't let it grow, it's usually a bad idea.

I just readmy post over and I'm really trying to make sense here, but I'm not sure I succeeded.

Man, this is not problem sight or eyes.
That was an example of explain.
In thought of the truth, it is not being or things can be changed by someone.
We can not make of it, the concept of truth neither modify.
Just someone is possible to understand, or many can be misunderstand of its.
Also, that is not 1,2 dimentions, rather than 4,5th dimentions.
So our language cannot be easy to explain, as like one cannot easily explain his dream in night with only language.
Someone is better to explain, but it also not perfect.

There are objective truths - visible yellow light has a wavelength of about 570 nm - and there are subjective truths - chocolate is delicious.

There is only one real truth - every single one of us is going to die.

The rest is all relative.

My brother says truth is the new fiction. He's been saying it for years. I used to think that I knew what he meant, but I quit kiddin' myself.

For your brother, the history of Israel is not true, but only fiction. Right?

kjhworld, get as upset as you'd care to. The original question is what I answered. Spin out of control on someone else.

That’s not objective really. Yellow could be 570 anything (570 brain ebbs). That is in the language, such as all yellow flowers are yellow, and all tall people are tall.
