Science decalre Religion as VIRUS. And it is a serious scientific result if we believe in the current theory of evolution.
Read the science behind The God Delusion or Blind Watchmaker or Devil's Chappel you will actually find a desire to seperate religion and science...
A scientist can not keep his faith with integrity.

I think life has evolved for Happiness ... and someone is misguiding the whole world.
As a student working towards a Biology major I could not help but to become frustrated by your comments. I'm also a psychology minor and everything from my education is telling me your desperately seeking attention through ridiculous claims made to your peers. But i honestly think the comments posted may be a result of ignorance or pride. (sometimes it's hard to seperate the two).
To say that a scientist can not keep his faith with inegrity is a huge misunderstanding. As a "scientist" (if a higher education earns you that title) I am also a very religious person. In fact I do not know where i would be without my faith. Science and religion can co-exist. It is the individual who decides it can or may not. I believe man is that he might have joy. And that (a) God is the one who makes that possible. As a religious person i believe God created Darwin, Bell, and Edison. I believe he knew their minds before they were born. They created theories and inventions that allow us to live and love life today. (Yes, Darwin was a Christian and yes he believed in God. Do some research on it. You'll find he believed as i do) Of course things evolve; don't we? The clothes we wear the places we can live in and adapt to because we evolve. But these things do not prove or disporve religion. I believe science consists of many atoms of belief where in religion must be constant. I can choose to believe that evolution/adaptation is real, but not that it dated so far back as to say we as humans came from apes. And i can believe that God is real and in control. How can you look into the sky at night and place yourself above the stars to say "I know how they were made without God, I know the secrets of those universess." I for one cannot fathom how such a beautiful earth was created by anything less than a Heavenly Father. I hope you understand my point. I guess i could sum it up by saying that a further education is only defined by those who obtain it. You can not place generalities on my knowledge of both subjects because i study a topic that has become a controversial subject. The earth may have been created in a big bang but who set it off?

Hmm interesting opinion. I hope you dont mind if i express mine. As a religious person i do base most of my decisions on what i have been tought to do in my faith. I don't do this however in a "zombie" state that would take away my agency or free will. (no not even subconciously) Prayerful consideration of just about every hard decision in my life has come out positive. Prayerful consideration does not mean going to God and asking what next. Its making a pre-decision between a choice or choices and then asking for affirmation. I apologize if that is in any way "preachy" i hate forcing religion on anyone. Just as i would hate religion forced on me. Im simply trying to explain from another point of view how are unalienable rights are not jepordized by religion. (At least for myself) And yes my balls are still in tact.

If can get angry and punish the religious leader for misguiding people with respect to religion then why are we not punishing these scientists for misguiding education system (within the context of science)...
THEY ARE CIRUCULATING LIES.
And they should be hanged for encouraging disharmony... and bringing mental afflictions on the people at large.
These are the root causes which lead to terrorist attacks.
We must prevent the next case of violence before it becomes a relaity.
We must hold on rationality which is justified and honorable to all.
First of all evolution is a cold hard fact!
2nd advocating violence is against the law, and this thread should be shut down immediately!
3rd people ARE gene carriers and the truth is more important than religious lies!
4th you lie when you say science explains religion as a virus. Sociologist studt where religion came from and its effects on society NOT biologist that don't teach ANYTHING with regard to religion!
5th It is not the scientist misleading anyone. It's religious fanatics that don't want to accept the truth!
6th The only ones bring mental infflictions are the religious people that tryto brainwash everyone and punish anyones who dares question the theory of a god, even though there is not one shred of evidence a god ever existed!
7th All terroist attacks have been made by religious zealots. Not one atheist or scientist have carried out even one terroist attack!
8th You are right we must be rational and suggesting what you have suggested is NOT rational, logical, reasonable, moral, etrhical, legal, or HONORABLE!

And you have based this statement on the research that you did while you obtained your Doctor of Philosophy accreditation from which university?

Of course we should hang biologists.

But I'm only saying that because I'm a physicist.

Yes, welcome from me too, although you've been here awhile.
We've been talking about this subject quite a lot lately. If you find that your faith supports you then good for you. You are right, religion and science can co-exist. The problem is that like two different cultures trying to find a place where they can have consensus in a multi-cultural world, it takes a little extra work to make it happen, good for you.
