Exactly. That means it isn't a correct statement, which was my point in the first place.

How is it my obligation to "prove" this either way when he made the claim in the first place? Your logic here seems flawed.

No. It's impossible to prove that any faith is "right", just as it's impossible to prove that all of them are "wrong".

Again, this is not something you can prove or disprove.

As religions go, Buddhism doesn’t seem that bad. In all of my readings I’ve never read, “In the name of Buddha, I will kill you,” or anything similar. Anyhow, look into Buddhism, it might be worth something, but I doubt it.

You know what the definition of an extremist Buddhist is?
A guy with a special broom used to scare ants away so that he doesn't trod on them.

YES! Finally someone has said it! I'm Catholic, but don't believe in forcing my religion on others. I beleive that God gave us all free-will, to believe in him or not to, and it's ironic that people claiming to be His servents go around trying to take that from others.

Yeah, plus you have to remember that when the Bible was written Rome worshipped countless dieties and "gods," and there was no such thing as the Vatican. At that time Rome was the biggest persicuter of Christians there was.
