German Christian Woman was burried with Imam's prayer

German national, Marlis Sartisson (61) has died because of diabetes in where she live for 17 years , Alanya / Turkey.
Because of the Alanya Priest Joachım Kusch suddenly hospitalized by illness and went to Germany for treatment, instead of him, the imam (Rıfat Kaçmaz) of the nearby mosque were invited for funeral , Imam Rifat Kaçmaz read prayers both from Bible and Quran ..

Despite to a few fanatics that takes a lot of attention in highlights , nature of turkish people was and is always tolerant and moderate, If there were no Turks, most probably there wouldn't be Protestants, Orthodoxy and Jews in Europe.

I'll bet not a few thaughtfull Europeans regret dismantling The Ottoman Empire. The pieces are coming back to haunt us.

Hm, this article points in reaction to Europe pointing at certain intollerance in Turkey to the intollerance of Europe of 400 years ago. Thats a bit odd.

I mean considering that with a little search it might have found European intollerance of today I wonder why they had to dig out the 30 years war. The war that was for centuries considered the worst that could come upon humanity. Until the world wars...

Well, the article want to point out that the general nature of turks is not intolerant despite to a few fanatics who find a lot of attention in the highlights.
BTW, The protestants people of Europe who know every negative thing about ottomans, how many of them know about it ?
