What religion are you?

This is a common thread in other forums so this should work here...

Just as the title says, "What religion are you?" or rather What religion is yours? Elaborate if you like...

ADMIN: Please sticky this thread, it usually helps in keeping a sucessful running tab of the religion on this board.

Depends how you define religion.
Not that it really matters for this purpose.
Anyhow, I put Christian: non-Catholic, but I don't really see myself that way. I just see myself as a Christian. I have no compunction against taking communion in a Catholic church or whatever. I used to go to Catholic mass, as I went to a Catholic school... until we got a bit older and realised that since no one takes register in the mass you can sneak off.
For the final goodbye mass of Year 11, me and my friends went to see X-men 2 instead.

I'm an athiest rather than an Atheist. There is a distinction between the two.

Obviously, it's not a religion, or even a belief, but an opinion.

I know, that is why the question in the poll was formated as follows:

What religion (or lack thereof) is yours?

I chose other, though I am fairly close to (and have been labeled) an agnostic. I guess that's really where I actually am, though I tend to have Pantheistic tendencies WRT discussion of a creator.

I really do not know conclusively one way or another if there is a creator or not, and don't believe that faith is going to do it for me in this regard. I'm not saying there is not need or use for faith, but this is something that in my life experience so far, is not getting satisfied with faith.

Good poll.

I would like to elaborate:

I chose Atheist. But I was raised as Roman catholic. I even have sympathies for some core issues of jesus teachings, but the point why I dont consider myself to be a christian anymore is because I simply can't believe in god, I don't want to bend the principles I believe in just to make it possible to believe in god.

If thats, Atheism, than its fine. But I also follow the idea that everyone has to make this up with onesfelf. Let me not believe in God, and you can believe in what you like. Of course as long as you accept our worldly laws and principles when being in Europe.

I believe in a creator but I don't believe in religions, messengers etc.. Religions are not divine but mostly worldly. I don't think creator needs our worshiping or any other stupid ritual. If there is any, message of the creator would be hidden in the nature..

While I agree with you about agnostic, some atheists are religious atheists, some aren't.

This guy is a religious atheist:
