Satan

As an atheist, the belief in a Satan or demons or demonic possession are some of the things that hard for me to comprehend. When I am outside in the dark the only thing out there that is "evil" is me.

Since Satan is purely a construct of the Christian religion (a fallen Angel, created by God), doesn't it stand to reason that those who do not believe in God would also not believe in an "arch-angel" that He created?

(Satan is found in Judaism and Islam as well, but obviously they believe in God too)
While that may seem sensible to us, Drgoodtrips, I fear such ideas are too advanced for the cognitive faculties of the originator of this discussion.

Perception of satan is way different in islam comparing to christianity and judaism. And there is no satanists in muslim countries (I only know a few wannabe, depressed, unhappy rich teenagers who are seeking ways to get more attention in istanbul)

That doesn't sound any different from Christian countries. For all the fear it invokes, Satanism is a tiny religion. In Britain, there are only a few hundred Satanists. It's not even big enough to be recognised as a proper religion (you need 1000 members for that... even Jedi is a recognised religion). And I don't doubt most of the members are teenagers who think it's anti-establishment.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure if an atheist doesn't believe in God and Heaven he/she CERTAINLY doesn't believe in a Satan and Hell.

A brilliant premise for a thread.

It's futile to try to deny it anymore. They have figured out our allegiance to Athe. The time has come to strike!

I already explained, since you admitted it you lost all your power. So you can't win.

Well, since religions are allowed to change the rules on a whim (see Christianity recently deciding that limbo does not exist for non-baptized babies) then I have decided that we can talk about it and not lose our power.

See? Fixed! We will win!
