Athiets in the USA

Why do they not want one nation under God and in God we trust
on money well the solution is if this was to be

No presidents, or figureheads on bills

1 FIVE, TEN, 20, 50, 100 bills

also they wanted the Ten Commandments removed why when it has Thou shall not bear false witness that's a commandment which should at every court that and thou shall not kill

how come when we recite and to the republic, etc
and for liberty and for justice for all there is no music

Bush has done nothing to make this country think of him highly and has done nothing our fore fathers, or our greatest presidents such as Jefferson, Roselvet the catholic one, Clinton despite him fibbing under oath as putting him on trial for a bj was really pathetic of the white house

I think you'll find most atheists don't care too much about merely mentioning God. It's when you expect people who believe differently to regard the Christian God the same way Christians do is when you have a conflict.
As for the Pledge of Allegiance, it WAS "one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" but "under God" was added in the 50's I believe. This has the same effect as forcing people who don't believe in a god to say these things when reciting the Pledge. You're unfairly mixing religion with patriotism.

Again, I would think atheists don't care one way or another what is on the money, aside from the denomination, that is.

You don't really believe the 8th commandment deters anyone from lying in court, do you?
And when a murderer appears in court I would say the 5th commandment is kind of a moot point at that stage.

The atheists took the music away. Damn them!

As an American atheist, I am always amused at what other people say I want. We are all different in what we want.
