Now, if I could assure that my child would be born NOT a serial killer, rapist, or sick degenerate.. then I would choose yes. Those are the things I am worried about.. not intelligence. ^_~

Hi, I know I just kinda popped in on this, but I completely agree with Scribbler1. We should have sewn Bush's mouth shut, then they wouldn't be able to catch all of those poses of him with his mouth hanging open like a chimp's mouth. I do not agree with messing around with a fetus however. I believe that the only reason change should be done is if it's to ensure the health of the mother or the child.

My original post indicated selective breeding as the method or raising I.Q., not messing around with the fetus. I mentioned about a sperm bank where women were going to be fertilized with the sperm from exceptional donors.
I was surprised how many of the posters to this thread either did not value intelligence, or somehow related it to social mal-adaption or malfunction. It seems they would rather be a dullard but socially integrated than be smarter but not as well socially integrated.
