Honestly, I still don't understand why the conservative base is so mad at the Congress and President. Aside from Iraq, conservatives got a lot out of these past 6 GOP years. Massive tax cuts (mainly for the rich), two conservative partisans appointed to the Supreme Court, the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, an attempt to ban homosexual marriages, and at least a partially funded-border fence. Sure the GOP dropped the ball on social security and illegal immigration, but in all seriousness look at everything else they delivered for their base. I'm kind of puzzled why they are so mad.

There's plenty there for social conservatives, but not much for economic conservatives. Tax cuts are nice, but educated economic conservatives know that the level of spending is the actual level of taxation, not the level of revenue.

Separation of Church and State was ordained by Jesus. The right to keep and bear arms wasn't.
