Jesus Cruise!

Cruise 'is Christ' of Scientology

By EMILY SMITH
US Editor
January 23, 2007

TOM Cruise is the new “Christ” of Scientology, according to leaders of the cult-like religion.

The Mission: Impossible star has been told he has been “chosen” to spread the word of his faith throughout the world.

And leader David Miscavige believes that in future, Cruise, 44, will be worshipped like Jesus for his work to raise awareness of the religion.

A source close to the actor, who has risen to one of the church’s top levels, said: “Tom has been told he is Scientology’s Christ-like figure.

“Like Christ, he’s been criticised for his views. But future generations will realise he was right.”

Cruise joined the Church of Scientology in the ’80s. Leader L Ron Hubbard claimed humans bear traces of an ancient alien civilisation

This is, by far, the best story I have read all week. It will make me smile well through the weekend.

Cruise is well under average height, I could make a comment about a Napoleonic complex but, well why not. How does one end the earth presence of someone with alien blood? Will an abbreviated cross and stoning by pebbles do the trick? Will his usual make-up people, PR group, security and handlers be required for such an appearance?

I read a series of L. Rons sci fi books. Very entertaining writer he is

Never bothered with his weird self made "religion" text. I kind of think the guy did it as a joke to see just how many idiots he could get to follow such nonsense. He does have that kind of humor if you pay attention when reading his sci fi books.

Anyways, L. Ron aside. Cruise is just a holywood simpleton who made too much money (yes. money CAN ruin people) too soon.

Wanna crucify cruise ?

Stop paying to see his movies. Stop funding the idiot. This applies
to a LOT of holywood idiots

Thats exactly what I am doing.

$cientology sucks. Its a good thing, Germany and also Austria did refuse to grant them religous status. After all its proven that they took the "official religion" way only because that means tax brake. And money is the sole reason for this organization behind the facade.

This cult is dangerous, fascist, and a threat to democracy as it is the natural enemy of the freedoms we enjoy. Fight the beginning!

Ah HAH.

We agree on something

I wouldn't even be so sure it's dangerous. Just a "following" of idiots that have difficulty thinking for themselves.

Scientology was already once involved in a real putsch. (Forgot which nation, but it heavily interfered into the politics of some African state.)

It furthermore runs a large inteligence like organisation and there are hundreds of cases about their terror warfare against what they consider as enemies. There is even a case where a woman lost her life due to their techniques i one of their own "prisons". Prison might be the wrong word though as prison is a nice place in comparison to what they have.

There are several cases where it was proven that this cult actively tries to undermine the state. They have clear outlines that speak of a world without democracy as the goal. And they do everything in their power to reach that.

Of course the little Scientology member never gets to know of most of this. His job is only to make the money and give it to the cult in order that it can make its hidden goals real.

This should tell you all you need to know. But basically... it's a cult.

Scientology is a cult founded by the Sci-Fi autor L. Ron Hubbard. One of the most important rules it follows is according to the founder: "Earn money, earn more money, earn even more money".

The idiological basis sounds like one of his B-movie like Science fiction stories. This core of the cult is however only known to those who have already far advanced in the hiearchy. The largest share of cult members think its a way to grant mental health and provide success in life.

Principally the concept of the cult is that you have to make courses for advancing in the hierarchy and also for solving your problems and saving your soul. The first levels are relatively cheap, it gets however unbelievable expensive as you advance. Normally members will owe the cult a fortune after a certain time. This is also used as pressure against them, for earning more money and also for remaining within the cult.

There are many things about $cientology one should know. If you really are interested you should have a look at this page: Operation Clambake - The Inner Secrets Of Scientology

"Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

Hubbard later created the Church of Scientology...
