Ben Stein the Creationist, apparently a moron as well
Watch:
If people want to believe in creationism, well that's their thing, but when you say things like science leads to evil and religion leads to good that's just idiotic.

I just noticed. The guy who made this video put the image of a woman there for no apparent reason just so his could get more views. I heard that having a pretty picture in the middle of a youtube video will increase views because that will become the thumbnail, but I never seen anyone just throw one in there without cause or reason.
As for Stein, yeah he is a crackpot. I had no idea regarding his political leanings or financial education, but that all might as well be thrown out the window considering the BS I read about his video. It was just a bunch of conspiracy theories.
Damn, why can't there be reasonable Christians on the spotlight who give a good name to Christianity... I hate fundies like this.

I like ben stein. i don't see the problem. he believes in intelligent design, so what? This video is laced with anti Americanism. Watch the movie with an "Open Mind" and then form an opinion.

He says science causes death. It is an ignorant, typical super-Christian nut position.
That statement alone kills any credibility he ever had, and any credibility of his movie being worth the film its printed on.

more than likely it was taken out of context. he uses science in his movie, so i don't think that is his opinion.

I read his Wikipedia article before commenting for a reason Bloodhart. His comments weren't taken out of context. That is exactly what his film is about.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is a controversial 2008 documentary film[2][3] which claims that "Big Science" suppresses criticism of both the evidence for evolution and the modern evolutionary synthesis, which is the theory explaining this evidence.[4][5] The film, hosted by Ben Stein, contends that this scientific theory contributed to the Nazi Holocaust, communism, atheism and Planned Parenthood.[6] Furthermore, the film claims that American educators and scientists who believe that there might be evidence of intelligent design in nature are being persecuted for these beliefs.
Quote:
The film is largely devoted to portraying evolution as responsible for Communism, Fascism, atheism, eugenics, Planned Parenthood and, in particular, Nazi atrocities in the Holocaust.[12][6] This is a common creationist claim.[36] As Scientific American notes, the film almost always inaccurately labels the modern theory of evolution with the outdated term "Darwinism" to imply an ideology.[37] Christianity Today film critic Jeffrey Overstreet's "spoiler" describing the film's specific content was also posted on the official Expelled website:[38]
He believes that evolution and by extension science itself is responsible for the horrors of Communism Fascism, eugenics, the Holocaust and even worse Planned Parenthood and atheism. It's funny for someone who thinks that religion is being persecuted he has no problem persecuting atheists by comparing them to mass murder and tyranny. Did you actually watch the movie?
