What if Hillary Clinton steals the Nomination?

What Do you think will happen if Hillary Clinton with fewer delegates and less of the popular vote manages to get Democratic nomination?

I think Hillary would lose half of the Democrat base. Hillary would get her ass stomped in the general election worse than Barry Goldwater in 1964.

The younger base that supports Obama would be very disappointed, and would probably stay home to voice their anger rather than vote for Hilary. This, of course, would allow McCain to win the election; an election that, only a few months ago, I had felt would go easily to the Democrats.

I doubt that they would just stay home. If it is perceived that the nomination is stolen I am confident that there will be protests

You could be right. I think I'd enjoy a good protest

While that is certainly an understandable position, I don't think that would solve anything. It is simply foolish to say that you would never vote for a party again, because you don't know who future candidates will be or the place the country will be in. Even I haven't ruled out the eventuallity of having to vote for a Republican some day.

It doesn't necessarily matter who the candidate is. If the Party is corrupt, then that's a good reason not to vote for the party as a whole. A good candidate can run as a third party. It's cowardly how you would continue to vote for a party that did not believe in democracy while espousing liberal ideals. When people show that they don't care what you think, and you reward them with your vote, that's sheer cowardice.

I would vote for a good third party candidate, if one surfaces.

I try to form my opinions on a candidate not based on their party, but based on the candidate and what they value. I will always vote for who I view as the best person to lead our country, be the party they belong corrupt or not.

If a candidate showed that they didn't care about what I thought, there is no chance that they would recieve my vote.
