If Hillary nabs it as such, this is what I see happening: young prospective Democrat/Independent voters energized and inspired by Obama will be lost to the Democrat party (or worse, lost from political involvement) for a very long time. A huge amount of black voters and young voters will likely vote 3rd party, stay home, or vote McCain. Either way, I see it very hard for Clinton to pull it off against McCain in November if that happens.
I consider myself free of any party. In fact, this is my first time voting R or D (I usually tended to vote Libertarian or Independent cantidates in the past). Obama is the only guy who I want out of the three running. If he is not on the November ballot, I'm writing his name in. I may join in on a protest if they are near.
