Rage Against the Machine

I love listening to Rage Against the Machine. I know a lot of people like them, and it's not exactly an original preference, but I still love 'em.

I listen to their songs everywhere: when I drive places, when I lift weights, sometimes when grading work, running, etc. They're inspiring, and it's probably the rhetoric style rants they've got broken up within each song.

The songs I listen to most from their cover album:

1. Wake up
2. Bombtrack
3. Know your Enemy
4. Take the Power Back
5. Bullet in the head.

I don’t listen to Rage Against the Machine much, but from what I have heard they don’t like the way the government is run.

Exactly. That's why I love 'em.

I'm a big Battle for LA fan. Anything off that.

Zack's solo band is coming to Sacramento or it already has been. Tickets were beyond sold out.

You are the last person I would think that would like Rage. I like their self-titled Cd and battle of LA.

Ah, see most people misunderstand me in that fashion. I've never really fully explained myself, so here's another novel to serve that purpose:

I am by no means a conformist, and I don't appreciate the government very much at all. I'm suspicious of establishment in general, and I don't trust people very easily either.

The thing is, I dislike the things that are taking over this country at a citizen level just as much as I dislike the things that are taking over this country at a governmental level. I want massive reform on all scales, and I'll probably spend my whole life trying to at least make somewhat of a difference in that regard. I can see why most people might think I support establishment and all that. To some extent I do, but in situations like that Andrew Meyer thing, I have to make a decision based on the events themselves, because I detest both the side that he represents and the government equally.
