Question for dude
dude,
Hope you don't mind that I started a thread just to ask you a question about your own views. I'm curious about something. Everyone knows that you are a gung-ho Rudy Giuliani supporter. You say that you support Rudy because he is not as radical as those other conservatives (i.e. Thompson and perhaps Hukcabee).
What I'm wondering is: what are the actual differences (on the issues) between you and Thompson? Or you and Newt Gingrich?
I have a theory, which is that actually you are more enamored with Rudy's character (due to the fact that you are both Catholic and that you are from NYC, where Rudy was mayor). Did I nail it?

I heard a really interesting interview today about a prominent Protestant minister who would not vote for Giuliani, in part because he's Catholic. I'll start a thread on it later.

its one thing to say that now. when the real votes come around, they will be at the box. you want to know the amount of people that won't be voting for another clinton, Du Bois? that will be a lot higher than a protestant minister.
i'll post a story about that shortly

It will be hard to maintain that after I post up the video interview of this guy with Hannity.
By the way, how about answering my questions in the OP?

It's not just one minister. The guy is highly influential and represents a major conservative voting bloc: Christian evangelicals. In a FOX poll taken, a three way race with an independent conservatives goes like this:
Hillary: 46%
Giuliani: 30%
Republican Independent: 14%
I'll show you the video soon.

key word is conservative. they make up about 20% (if that) of the party. they don't mean that much anymore (thanks to Bush) to the party. the neocons are what drives the republican party now. giuliani falls under this description. moderates make up most of it. i turn to every state, where giuliani leads thompson usually by great numbers.
thompson is going nowhere.
slam him all you want, he continues to defy the haters by outsmarting them w/ his genius

(1) 20% of your base is easily enough to cost a Republican the election.
(2) Polls show Giuliani ahead by about 5-7%. That's not "great numbers." The GOP primary is very much anybody's game at this point.

Too early to say where he could go.

Maybe you should try to hold off on the partisanship for a few months longer (preferably indefinitely). I haven't slammed Giuliani. I'm talking about the facts. Some people are interested in those.

yes, your consistent use of a drag picture which was a part of SNL (Saturday Night Live Comedy Show) clearly shows your purpose of mentioning the facts.
right.

Anyway, dude - were you going to respond to his question in the original post (which he actually reminded once for you), or just continue ducking it? I can maybe post them a third time if that will be of any help.
