"If I did it" - OJs Confession Book

I don't know if this is 'book' news or something more. I thought it was something more since this entails historical discussion and two murders that have gone unpunished. But mods - feel free to place this where you wish.

No 'if' in If I did it

Well, it looks like the 'OJ Confession Book' really will be out for everyone to read. The author of this article says that there really is no 'if' in the title - "If I did It'.

There is also a mystery man, a witness, that OJ discusses in his book. 'Charlie'. A new friend who watched the entire event.

Who is 'Charlie'? A.J.? OJ's grown son? The devil delightfully standing by to watch a maniac murder to people? Interesting.

It's a shameless book. It's a real tragedy that someone in this country would allow a murderer to profit from his murder while he still walks free.

Buying the book would only put money in OJ's pockets. If there is ever a book that I am interested in, but wouldn't personally support, I hit the library.

I don't know if OJ gets any of the money from the book. I think the Goldman family got all rights taken away from OJ. Last I heard, the Goldmans wanted it published because it was an admission of guilt on the part of OJ. (even though OJ says it's fiction - which of course we know it isn't - no one falsely accused of murder would come out years later with a book like that - no one in their right mind anyways)

But still - I dont' intend to buy it or spend any money on it.

I think it'll probably end up being a movie or something. I wouldn't be surprised.

No way would they make a movie of OJ killing Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. Be realistic, man.

You never know. Twenty-years down the line, I could very easily see some shameless producer doing an entire movie on the thing - not just the murder, but the media circus that occured after the fact.

Well we weren't talking about 20 years down the line.

I don't think people will even remember this 20 years from now. Not much to make a movie over anyway. It was boring enough watching OJ in the white Bronco while it actually happened.

OJ is a total coward, he had to confess his crimes (he already got away with) in a hypothetical confession where he doesn't directly admit it but its as a clear as can be. Someone just shoot the bastard so we don't have to hear about him anymore.

Hollywood has made big screen movies and TV shows of many things.
Considering the mentality of the Hollywoodites, if they smell a buck there is no telling what they'd do.

Yes, but the nation watched the trial and discussed events over the watercoolers at work. I am proud to say that I wasn't one of them. But a lot of folks did it.

I wouldn't have thought that 'they' would sell a book by OJ on how he did the murders. But they are.
Never say never. (sickening, eh?)
