Thumbs up Take the Political Ideology Test!!!!

I think with all of the partisan bickering and crap we've been seeing, it might be insightful to see where each other stand with a consistent criteria. I think we might find that some assumptions are not entirely correct.

LINK

Take the quick quiz and post the result. At the top of the page, select "Political Philosophy" from the choice of buttons.

I'll start:

I am a Liberal-leaning Populist:

For comparison, some Presidential candidates:

Clinton:

Obama:

Giuliani:

Romney:

I came out as a populist leaning liberal, not too far from moderate.

I surprised myself. I scored hard-core conservative. Normally I'm a moderate to libertarian leaning conservative.

Great thread. You have to do the test twice, to get the chart and the comparison. You do the test once with the 2008 candidates and then do it again for "personal ideology".

I scored close to Tommy Thompson (R) Iowa and John McCain. I don't see myself that way, I see myself more like Evan Bayh (D) Indiana and Mark Warner (D) Virginia.

Your political philosophy is Liberal-Leaning Populist.

I changed the name of this thread and made it a sticky thread. I love stuff like this, so I wanted it to get the maximum amount of participation.

I still retain my independent status from any specific political affiliation, however.
