From time to time there are persons who claim to have seen UFO's including US airmen guarding an air base in England. Police in Belgium. The Mexico city incidents were hundreds of people saw and photographed objects.

Please post first hand accounts if you have one.

Well I don't know what you'll think of this or not, but one night a long time ago we were sitting in our living room watching tv. We have two big sliding glass doors that go out to the back, so we can see pretty much the whole back yard. We didn't actually see a space ship or anything, but all of the sudden everything outside was lit up in a white light that kind of made it look like an artificial day light. It literally looked like it was day time, but with a flourescent bulb for about 5 seconds. We didn't hear any thing like an engine from a plane or anything, plus I've never really seen any lights on air craft that can make it look like day time. It was pretty weird.

Bright light

One pre-dawn morning when I was driving to work, a meteorite (or burning space junk) streaked across the sky at a very shallow angle. It was so bright that, like what you experienced, it turned night into day.

I heard about this last January. Here's another one on the same story.

If you get a free second, check out "The Disclosure Project" on youtube. Apparently a lot of ex government employees: NASA, Airforce, etc. are coming out and saying that they know for a fact that they have seen and been involved with UFO cover ups and that they are petitioning the government to release the information they know. They say that they have samples of alien technology and that they have reversed engineered them and discovered a new, unlimited energy source that is pollution free. There are a lot of videos, some are better than others, and some even talk about how we have communicated with the aliens and goes into the fact that the aliens are peaceful, but they're worried about the way things are going with our nuke technology. They fear that we will either destroy ourselves, or in the future point the nukes at them.

When I was a kid about elementary school age I remember coming home one night on the freeway b/t my grandparents farm and our home in the city seeing something very similar to what you describe with the shallow angle.

This was sort of a good sized blob of slightly changing colored light that seemed to almost track along the freeway in the sky. 50 years old and I still remember it because it was colorful & different.

Was it your impression from the speed, etc., that it was a meteorite/space junk burning up, or something else?

You know I have no idea. Mom, dad & brother all watched it too while we were driving. As a kid I guess my mind was open to it being a UFO kind of thing if for no other reason it was in the sky and something I had never seen before. Looking back now I'm guessing it was a meteor or something to that effect... I hopE!

I'll try to describe it a little better and you'll see why it was weird. We were traveling about 70mph going west on the freeway (way out on the freeway with no freeway lights). It came up on our left side so that would be south of us. It didn't look that far away from us... but how do you judge how far away something is or it's size when it's just a glowing rounded glob in total darkness? There were no relationship points to compare it with. To tell you where it looked like it was... "it looked" like it was about a quarter mile off to our side and about 2 or 3 times it's distance away up in the sky. It was a big, bright, colorful spot in the sky about the size of a medium size passenger jet (if it were only as far away as I said)... but fluctuating, colorful & round. The weirdest thing (besides the fact it was a glowing glob with fluctuating colored tints) was it appeared to be going almost parallel to the ground and stay in the about the same place beside us as we kept moving. It was there for a good couple of minutes at least and then it seemed to move forward quicker an then disappear.

I know this sounds like a danieltowsey story but I was too young to be on drugs and it was exactly as I remember.

I'm thinkin' it had to be a comet or a meteor or something at a much greater distance that just looked close up. What do you think?
