For over 40 years James Randi Zwigert (is this even a REAL NAME?) has had total control over who and how the testing was conducted, yet despite all this he has terminated the challenge.

The ONLY REASON why the challenge was stopped is because he lost and refused to pay.

Apparently, Randi likes to break the rules when it serves him:

I will give you the benefit of the doubt for now and not delete this thread as spam, but you need to fix this thread and make it a little more likely to promote a discussion. Right now, I have no idea what you're trying to get at.

James Randi has offered this prize for anyone who can prove that they have supernatural ability. No one has claimed it. As such it can be assumed that it is because no one has true supernatural powers. He has offered the test numerous times and in each time, the people have failed.

It's not as if no one knows about the Randi Foundation money. If someone PROVED that they had supernatural powers after being tested and Randi refused to give the money he would look like a real jerk and be totally discredited. And you KNOW that it would be all over the news that someone had finally passed the test and won themselves $1 Million.

They have decided to discontinue the test soon because they know that no one is going to come forward to claim the money. Why have $1Mill sitting in a bank when it could be better used to help their programs? I'm sure if someone comes forward after the money prize is taken away and can prove they have powers then they will find a way to reward them.
