Some of the Saints through the ages have said that the dead saints would freeze in Hell. Heaven is 'heated' with the love of God. The saints enjoy it. Hell is the lack of heat of God's love - but what little bit of God is there holding it in place BURNS those who are there because they can't stand it.

Hell has less heat then Heaven. But the little there burns those that hate God.

At least that's what I have read that some saints have thought.
