Hyperspace; Is it Possible?
Hyperspace, or whatever you want to call it, is it possible? Is it possible to jump from one place to another in space to get to another place faster?

I am no scientist, this is true. But Ido love and understand hisotry. And history tels me that there as been a great many things we have thought impossible. Circumventing the globe. Transplanting organs. Flying. Going to the moon.
So tend not to say anything is impossible.

The Roswellian Aliens in 1945,and many other Aliens that have visited the Earth, and or crash landed on our planet have acheived Hyperspace travel.
That is the only way that they could possibly visit Earth, given the many
light years that their Solar systems are from our solar system.Humans
here on Earth have not yet, acquired the technology,or we do not have the
minerals here on earth to construct such a vehicle or propulsion system.
Remember the Rosewell indestructable metal, you could bend it crush it , and it still would regain its original form!.Yes, hyperspace is possible.

I think the current theory is that while bending space is possible (allowing a jump through space) it requires virtually unlimited amounts of energy to do so.

Einstein postulated that space may not be linear. Current physicists state that in theory it may be possible to open what is called a "worm hole" to travel across one of these folds. Some also think that entering a black hole would result in being pulled in so fast that you (an object rather) would shoot out the other side in a different universe. They also state that with string theory, mathematics predicts that there are several parallel universes. If you want more, look up string theory and worm hole with a search engine.

I read once that it could indeed be possible by the laws of physics. All you need for a single jump is about the entire energy of the universe... or was it a few times the entire energy?

Not for something large as space ships, but probably not even for anything else.
