extinction is under-rated ;o)

Short of supernatural intervention and control of that which affects us as a species -that is -left completely to ourselves as we are..... If we do not blow ourselves up in the next few years or decades, die off by some superdisease we let loose or some such blunder -we either go extinct or we don't -by sheer luck or increased knowledge of our environment/ability to predict its behavior and manipulate or work around it.

Evolutionists should be humble enough to realize that their continued existence threatens the emergence of higher species (sarcasm)
