Several countries actually: America, North Korea, China, Russia (well, basically any country with Nuclear Materials) are probably the biggest threats to world peace.
I would like to add however that it really isn't countries anymore that threaten world peace, more like Fundamentalist Ideals.

Peace in and of itself isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Peace is preferable, but sometimes we must war to maintain peace, or at least a worthwhile peace (here citing humanitarian reasons). There's no point in peace when it will only enable your enemy a better opportunity to massacre your people, or when it will only keep intolerable violations of human rights from being stopped.

The biggest threat to world peace doesn't come from a country, it comes from fundamentalist islam.

No nation even comes close to the US when it comes to conducting wars. The US has been constantly involved in war since WW II. From our overt military operations to the CIA paramilitary operations it has been non-stop. Most Americans can't even cite the number of wars that the US has been involved in during their lifetime.
If war is the antithesis of peace then the US leads the way in threatening world peace.

I think I agree with Lancer. I believe the greatest threat to world peace is radical Islam or Islamism and the countries that harbor it. In fact, I sometimes wonder if these countries aren't fighting a proxy war with the west as the Soviet Union did in Viet Nam, Angola and other places.

To support such a belief you must establish the extent of Muslim nations attacking non-Muslim nations. Yes, there have been wars against Israel by Muslim nations. You might even consider disputes between Pakistan and India although these conflicts are not predominately religious in context.
These conflicts are relatively minor in the context of war. Overwhelmingly war has to do with imperialism and not religion. It is about control and exerting power regardless of religion.
Once again, wars of relgion pale in comparison the the constant wars of imperialism by the United States since WW II.

No I don't. You have apparently missed the point. I believe Lancer and I both agree that we don't see a particlar nation-state as a threat to world peace but rather a global totalitarian movement called Islamism which seeks the overthrow of secular states and spawns Islamic separatist movements. Examples include Trinidad-Tobago, Sri Lanka, the Phillippines, Southern Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal and many others. The two primary states who give safe haven to the exponents of this extreme form of Islam are Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Consequently, I suppose you could consider them the most dangerous nation-states.

The country I fear most is Pakistan. If the fundamentalists take over...oh god.
The US, EU, China and Russia are very dangerous in my opinion. China wouldn't be ready for war but they are rising so fast...
The country I fear not at all is India.
North Korea I think just plays a game...they feel threatened and want to show that they have weapons, even if they haven't any.
Iran is threatened itself like North Korea and I suppose that's the reason why they probably want the nuclear program. But a war against Iran is more present than a war started by Iran so I fear not really Iran, but those who plan to attack Iran.
Countries aren't the biggest threat to world peace.
It is particularly the arm industry, the military, separatists and fundamentalists who become terrorists (indifferent if they are extreme left-wingers or extreme right-wingers or Islamists). The point is that terrorism, war, crimes and civil war couldn't exist without the arm industry. Fun fact?
Basic materials and the climate change are and will be the causes of war also.
