After two Mummy movies and the Scorpion King have made the threat clear how much longer can we sit idly by while Egypt readies its undead super weapon to wipe us all out?

Some would say Iran, but 300 guys with spears is all it took to take them out. And the North Koreans couldn't even stop a handful of puppets.

Which is why Egypt is where the real danger is.

When you can get all the other countries in the world to get rid of their military's, promise to never ever attack another country or engage in any genocide or holocaust and find a way to enforce that without a military to back it up let us know.

You can what-if WW2 till the hogs come home, the fact is without our military and without going to war against the Nazi's the world would be quite different place.

Ya know this whole thread just reaffirms my belief that the US should pull outta every single country and tell them to deal with thier own problems.

Here's my solution.

Tell the whole world that we will leave them be so long as they leave us be. The first time someone does attack the US we nuke a deserted area of thier country. The second time a major populated area. The third time we nuke the entire country. Let everyone know that we will do this. Someone will of course test us on this and we will no doubt have to use a nuke. But just one. After that people will know that we mean business and leave us alone. Let them deal with thier own problems. And if they come crying to us well...thats just too damn bad isnt it? Shoulda thought of that before you all continueally bad mounthed us.

Relax.. why is that some Americans feel so threatened? How would you feel if both your naighbour countries were occupied and the invader's war ships which had blown up an airbus of yours and killed a bunch of inocent people sometime ago were still in the gulf all the time?

it's interesting the only nation that used a nuke bomb till now, talks about "nuking" entire country of enemies, again. I hope you think about it.. think about the people who read this.. do you really want to be the nation people of the world feel menaced by?

Also It'd be good if you tell me, if Al qaeda attacks US again, which country is that you think should be nuked? Which one is Osama's country? the one he's been born in, the one he's probably now hiding in, or the one between these two?

The predominate reason most nations have a military is to prevent an attack against their nation. The US has invaded and threatened more countries than any other nation since WW II. I would therefore say that the US should be leading the world in cutting the size and role of its military first. We certainly don't need a military the of the size that we have to defend the United States from invasion.

Germany was on the defensive and losing WW II well before a single US soldier set even one foot on European soil. While the US involvement in the war against Germany was important it is debateable that it was actually necessary to the defeat of Germany. Of course the political landscape would have been vastly different had Stalin been left unchecked in the defeat of Germany and it is in this respect that the US involvement was vital and not in the actual defeat of Germany.

Agreed. The "you first - no, you first" argumentation certainly does not lead anywhere. The US could easily cut 10% of its military and still be able to take on the rest of the top 10 military mights in the world alone, but it would give a strong message that he US is actually serious about doing their part in making the world more peaceful. And note that bombing other nations does not make the world more peaceful. It might be justifiable because of self-defense, but that doesn't change that simple fact.

Honestly, the decision of Russia to develope a new generation of nuclear weapons is definitely a step in the wrong direction and should be condemned, but considering the US is not willing to move at all in terms of disarming either it is absolutely justifiable...it's naive to expect anything else and hypocritical of the US to demand anything else.

At this point I really don't care if other nations feel threatened by my statement. I stand by it. As far as Osama, nuke the country he has been working out of.
