To be honest, no I dont fear the US attacking the EU or one of its members. They would be hillariously stupid if they did so.

I think however that the US at least with people like Bush and his team at the power, are a major threat to world peace. I would not go as far as to say its the largest though.

its sad how the people from america said it was the USA. perhaps we need to learn more about foreign relations. the US isnt a threat to world peace because we are trying to contain terrorism. We cant leave Iraq now though. We are in so we need to stay till the job is done. If we leave terrorist will come in and they will be slaughtered.

Right now its not one country that poses a major threat but more terrorist. there are some relations with 2 countries that could be a huge threat but america is not going to invade anyone in europe or try to take over somewhere

Well yes, I doubt anyone could disagree that there are MANY threats to world peace. But we're discussing as to whether or not there is one country which stands out above the others as a threat. And that's when USA, Isreal, Iran, North Korea can all become major contenders to this.

Yeah, but what can you do about that? Its really not Israel`s fault that so many people want to exterminate thier race. And its certainly not the civilians fault, and that unfortunately is usually who ends up dying in those situations.

It is indeed an interesting question, but you could see it from two different views.

The first one is, that we don't want to have another World War or a nuclear war, that this is considered to be some kind of world peace.
Some people are may regionally affected by war, but not the entire world.

The second one is, that we don't have world peace. What we don't have is impossible to lose.
We just can win, but it can't get worse as it was once or is already.
