Gaza hypothetical - Political Forum

Some friends of mine and I were talking about a hypothetical situation in Gaza this afternoon. Lets say toward the fall, the present administration has totally stopped thinking about the area knowing that the mess will soon be someone else's problem and that Hamas has greatly stepped up rocket attacks on Israel. The Israeli population is getting very antsy about Olmert since he can't do much to stop the attacks. The Likuds are screaming for the Israeli Army to go into Gaza and pound Hamas. My friends agreed that the Army has to go into Gaza but my thought was that if they do, the Likuds are just going to greatly gain in popularity at Kadima's expense. It seems, in this scenario, that Olmert is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Any creative thoughts?

Do you consider Palestinians are Humans Like Israeli's or you think they have less humanity?

Palestinians are every bit as human as Israelis, but when humans fire rockets, humans get bombs back in return. Stop firing rockets, no more bombs.

Our rockets and resistance is the dignity of our state..
if israel stopped killing us by its F-16 rockets and stopped the blockade then we will stop our rockets, don't dream that we will stop rockets freely, and be aware that we improve these rockets everyday so we will hit Tel Aviv one-day, so if israel wanna live in peace then they have to deal with our requests..

"you stop bombing me or we will bomb you".. could be said by israelis also.
do you realize that israel will not stop freely either?

What are your requests? How do you see a way to lasting peace can be found - by which I mean what are your needs.
