E-mail links to new posts

I've noticed every time I click on a link on an e-mail about a subscribed "new post notification" I am always directed to the first post in the thread. Is this a cookie issue or what?

Gracias. Although I didn't get a notification for THIS thread. Maybe tomorrow I'll clear the cookies and start over.

I cleared the cookies, double checked that I was still subscribed to threads but still no go.

(scratching head) Ow! I'm out of ideas.

I just got an email for this thread. I think we are in business. Thanks.

I changed the CP option to instant notifications but that what it originally WAS set to. I have 30 or so old email notifications stored in outlook express so they WERE coming but stopped a couple of weeks ago. I would occasionally login and click "new posts" to see what was going on.

I think that should do the trick.

Here's an update. I got the email for your last post on this thread but that's all, despite seeing new posts on 4 threads I had posted on. I suspect the instant notifiys won't kick in until I post again or something. I'll keep an eye out for now.

Why would I leave it on "no notification?"

No, the past emails were for threads I was on. Particularly a lengthy discussion with Superbug.

The problem there is I WANT the emails. I haven't checked yet to see if anyone responded to anything of mine but your post was the only one I received an email on.

Curious.

I'll let it slide a couple of days before I comment again. The fact that I get emails for this thread may mean all is well and I just need to post anew on the others.
