Questions about the Forum
Pardon me for asking guys, but does this board lean more right than left, or vice versa. Do you have a "troll" problem? Are the Moderators generally good folks, etc.?

Hey ringo, I moved your post into a new thread because I'm sure you are not the only newcomer with these questions. For the moment this forum is leaning left, which means I, though independent of any political parties, am in the minority. However, this is temporary and the mod team has gone to great lengths to recruit more quality conservative posters. Every now and then we will get a troll. Trolling is against forum rules and will be punished by the mods. My opinion is biased, but I would say we here at politicalforumpoliticalworld.com have the best mod team out there. Not including myself, the mods are great. They're fair and although it depends on the person, these mods are non-biased. That is one of the qualities looked at when members are suggested as being possible mods. Thats what happened to me anyway. Good luck on the forum,
Happy posting.

Yes, I see the post was moved - very efficient Moderating. Although the forum is leaning left, and I am a Republican, I will try to behave myself... !!! LOL!!!

haha, well I personally don't mind being in the minority, but its good to get reinforcements like yourself. Just remember to maintain good quality. We've had problems with that in the past.

And personally I think the idea the forum leans left is absolute ****!

But that's because I'm a socialist, and Locke is a conservative.
Our aim at least, is to have people from both left and right, we're not one of these sites that deliberately tries to be conservative or liberal.

Ringo, there is a thread somewhere that asks people to do a political quiz that places them on a double axis, as either Liberal, Libertarian, Conservative, or Statist. Look on that, and I guess you'll see a rough idea of where people stand.

I think that the Political Compass test is a good indicator, but it always pegs me as more of a Libertarian than anything, which I don't see as entirely accurate.
