Little red xes in little white boxes have popped up
all over the forum where such things as the "go to last post"
arrow used to be.

That might be OK, but along with it the formatting
icons on the post composition and edit box no longer work.

Anyone else having the same problem?

All my other boards are the same as ever.

Haven't tried editing yet, but the icons don't seem to be working .
I click on cool and all I get is a box with a red x.
Maybe their changing things.
Web did post a thread about the forum needing anew skin.

The forum does seem to be acting funny recently. The smilies seem messed up as well. Sometimes I notice that problems seem to come and go on the forum. We'll see if this passes. If not, then we'll see what we can do about it.

What do you mean "format" your posts? The regular system functions are OK to my knowledge. It's just the little smiley's and things like that which are down right now.

Posting editing, creating new threads are still fully operational.

Web, I have an idea on the smileys problem.
It may sound a bit lame, but I've just started to write out the words of the smileys since they are not in use at this time.
Just a thought.{cool}

There are two rows of formatting functions in the reply window:
eight on the top row and 19 on the bottom row plus spellcheck
and "Increase/Decrease Size" in the upper right.

Of the eight on the top row only "Fonts" and "Sizes" are working.

None on the bottom row are working, including bold and italic
which I use frequently, spellcheck is not working, and size control
is not working.

Smilies are working.
