VMA losses spark another Kanye tantrum
Source: Yahoo
Quote:
LAS VEGAS - Sour grapes from Kanye West — again. Shut out at the Video Music Awards, Kanye West threw a tantrum Sunday night in front of media and crew backstage as the MTV show was ending.
West, waiting for an elevator in a crowded hallway, began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated.
"That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," West said, stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I have the ... number one record, man."
West said he never will return to MTV.
The rapper was nomination for five awards, including male artist of the year. This is the latest in a series of awards show outburst for West. Last year, he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards after not winning for best video.

Pretty much he is saying that the winners were rewarded b/c they were white. What a spoiled little ass. While I like some of his work, in this instance he is acting like a 5-year-old whose parents would not get them the toy of choice, and also displaying the skills of a spoiled brat.
Kanye you weren't good enough, end of discussion.

Yeah, too bad you don't say what you're really thinking:
Kanye, you bastard, you criticized Bush's handling of Katrina, now I'm gonna trash you no matter what you do!!!!

I kinda don't blame Kanye. Not because it's race-related, but because MTV is full of shit and I can't bear to turn the channel on. Good for him for saying that he'll never return to MTV.

If anything he should blame Rihanna, it was her and Timberland’s “puppets” that stole the show.
I find that comment quite immature WEB. However, I do find West's comments about Katrina regarding Bush pathetic and racist in its own right. Kanye is the one being racist regarding Katrina, blaming someone who really couldn't do much more than that. The Louisiana governor would not allow FEMA in, it was not b/c Bush didn't get things together fast enough.
But, anyways....back to Kanye

Actually it was Bush's fault that he.....no wait, Bush is always right and always the victim. How silly of me to spit the truth to those who mindlessly follow him.
Anyway like I said MTV is not worthy of Kanye's attention.

Wrong. there was a dispute over jurisdiction between state and government which slowed the process up. blame the women governor here who has done an extremely poor job overall, and who should not be the governor, instead in this state there should be the first african american republican governor. but, as usual, the democrats cheated their way into office.
anyways..........

What comment is quite immature, the fact that what I said was true by your own admission, and you find the truth to be "immature" "pathetic" and "racist" when it is not convenient for your political agenda? You first say my acknowledging your partisan agenda is "immature" and then you go right ahead to confirm that however "immature" it is, it is nonethless true.
"I do find West's comments about Katrina regarding Bush pathetic and racist in its own right. Kanye is the one being racist regarding Katrina, blaming someone who really couldn't do much more than that."
Your words have no meaning, dude. They are just words chosen without any truth to them, designed to be as aggressive and derogatory as possible. You just attack without thought, consistency or honesty.

Really? Haven't heard much from this so-called dispute. Anyways I blame Bush, the state of Louisiana, and the people for Katrina and even though I think Kanye's comment was overdoing it, he still had the right idea for saying it.

I personally don’t like people who continue to use their skin color as a way to explain their misfortune.
