What are some of your hated media voices? - Political Forum

Just wanted to know what members hated who in the media. Some of the ones I hate are: Sean Hannity, because i have listened to his show many times and he's always saying stupid things and babbling on about them. One time he said that birds being taken care of by animal protection agency and being watched with cameras while they lived on a building top are going to grow up with schizophrenia and a bunch of other diseases and that the cameras were an invasion of privacy. That's both funny and stupid. Another one i hate is Rush Limbaugh because he presents fake polls and news and makes stupid jokes, and finally i also hate Bill o reilly for his stupidity and hipocracy and JohnStossel for his lies and his coverups of his lies.

Alan Colmes. He's a hemmorhoid on the dead butt of the Democratic party. A real poster boy for liberal idiocy.

Michael Moore. With that guy I can't tell if he's talking through his mouth or standing on his hands and talking out his fat liberal ass. Either way, he lies.

Rush Limbaugh...the first, and still the most vile hater of them all.
Bill Oreilly...meglomaniac of the first order, he's no threat to dems cuz he's so into himself.

I don't really hate anyone. I don't necessarily like a lot of people in the media, most in fact, but since I can't say that I really hate anyone, I'll just say who I like to listen to or read.

Bernie Goldberg
Dennis Miller
Neil Boortz (most of the time)
uh..... I guess that is about it. I do listen to Oreilly and Sean Vanity though. It is either that or listen to shitty music all day. I think that Oreilly can be reasonable some times, but Hannity is like a cartoon character.

Oh, I hate Dennis Miller. Personally, I find him to be the biggest intellectual charlatan of all time. He makes bad jokes that you have to torture to make any sense of. He doesn't even know what he's saying. He just throws in some random trivia, puts a conservative spin on it and that's the joke. Do you really think that his "jokes" are funny?

The thing is, it's not that the joke is so witty and so ingenious that we need an explanation, it's that the joke makes no sense at all. Let me try my hand at simulating a Dennis Miller Joke:

The Democrats current political machinations make about as much sense as Metternich's attempt to get the old fuddy-duddy's at the Congress of Vienna to stop fighting each other, so that they could try to socialize the national economies and buy some nice whigs for themselves.

I just pulled that comment out of my ass and it makes no sense. I used a big word in there and used a historical reference. That's how Miller's jokes are, IMO.

Source? I am not a large fan, mainly from his ESPN venture failure and other bombs that he has done throughout his career. He is too conservative for me.

Both stupid and i don't agree with them. I remembered what he said because it was stupid and because if he said something mean that i can always go back and remeber how stupid he is and that the said statement was proof.
